Re: LG 27” 1440P 480Hz OLED CES 2024

from the tft article It’s possible Asus are still investigating whether DP 2.1 could be added to the 27″ 480Hz and 32″ 4K 240Hz models, although as we reported in our recent article , this is difficult and challenging at this time. More details to be confirmed later on. By the way, what are the ben...

Re: LG 27” 1440P 480Hz OLED CES 2024

If it has dp2.1 I'm in.
Unfortunately at the moment, the only one "rumored" to have it is the new HP oled

Re: 32GS95UE 480hz OLED

I'm assuming this works by having each refresh use an alternating pixel, essentially overlapping two 240hz 1080p outputs. If that's the case, I'd expect this would also achieve a BFI -like increase in perceived motion clarity. Too bad it's 1080p at 32"! I also wonder if that pixel alternation would...

Re: ASUS ROG Swift 500Hz Announced!

You'll still need the newest version of Windows 11 23H2 I would run it at 500 hz in W10, extra 40 Hz is not worth the disadvantages of W11 in my opinion. I wonder if Microsoft considers fixing it for W10 when these monitors get more popular. Any idea if the monitor offers a 500hz option or would we...

Re: Acer Nitro XV242F (540hz TN) discussion

Did the windows 10 limit of 500hz ever get fixed or will users have to be running win11 to get the full 540hz?
Also the Acer 390hz display is a 360hz panel that overclocks to 390hz, will this one overclock?

Re: PresentMon: measure both frame throughput (fps) and latency

Sorry for the newbie question but I can't figure out how to draw 1% and .1% FPS lows in intel presentmon. There's no option for it in the loadout configuration so I'm guessing it must be somewhere in a subcategory

Re: ASUS ROG Swift 500Hz Announced!

Not to go too far off topic but it seems like there is a big gaping hole in the display industry no one is talking about. If they're able to produce a 4K 240hz oled, they can absolutely produce a 1080p 360hz oled. And for cheaper than the first gen 1440p 240hz oleds. And this 1080p version would hav...

Re: Win32PrioritySeparation

I want the best decimal for low latency 8-) It is in calypto guide described in detail. I use 40 (decimal), but keep in mind (if you have 20 latencies elsewhere, it won't feel good aka consistent, because you are being bottlenecked elsewhere, but than 1 component is ultra-fast)! Also consider incre...

Re: DP Cables

The new cable just arrived. Mine still says 5.4 Gbps current & max. Not sure what I was expecting, but for $15 bucks, I'm in. Seeing if I feel any difference during gameplay anyways. GPU: 1080Ti Monitor: ASUS VG258QM 280Hz 1000 series need a firmware update for 1.4 speeds, if you dont, 5.4 is the e...
