Re: [News] AOC g2460Pg G-Sync monitor to hit UK this month
1080 27" = horrid pixel density I have a VG278HE and this is correct, but from 1M away from the monitor it doesn't really differ from 1080p 24" (got both monitors side by side) Well, maybe it is slightly sharper (if you stare at details) on 1080p screen when I compare fullscreen, detailed 4K downsc...

Re: 144HZ - very high power consumption
Is there any simple, light weight program with which I could switch between 120HZ/144HZ via global keybind? PowerStrip has long been used for this. MultiRes is a utility that can do it easily via mouse. Both are available at http://www.entechtaiwan.com ... However, these tools are gradually getting...

Oh, and:
Oh, and:
(...)set 121HZ in Windows and force in NVIDIA Control Panel 3D global settings preferred refresh rate to highest available. But then only fullscreen games would run 144HZ, correct?

144HZ - very high power consumption
I noticed that since I've upgraded my monitor to 144HZ, my power consumption in idle jumped to 120-130W in idle from 70-75W. When I decrease my refresh rate to 120HZ in screen resolution settings, it goes back to around 70W. I see that GPU does not clock down @ 144HZ settings. It does at 120 and 121...

Re: Which monitor to buy?
Ahh, got mine VG278HE. It's perfect, so smooooth... Strobe is great - not getting any headaches or eye fatigue, colors are pretty much the same as in "normal mode", didn't notice any artifacts etc. No stuck or dead pixels. Slight, uniform BLB around the edges - not a big deal tbh. I expected the wor...

Re: Which monitor to buy?
I just ordered a VG278HE. I got bored with G-Sync waiting game - at least 3 months more for 24" or 27" 1080p, correct?. Also, it was dirt cheap - nearly the same price as VG248QE/XL2411Z. I just hope it will be defects free, because it is out of stock and they can't exchange it. :? (just money retur...

Re: Where are all the G-sync displays ?
Meh. I thought it was supposed to be Q1 for 1080p 24" G-Sync monitors. I should have bought VG248QE or VG27HE 3 months ago

Re: EXCLUSIVE: We measure G-SYNC Input Lag in GSYNC Preview
Great test, but results are worrisome. In BF4 my FPS varies between 60-160 (depending on amount of players, what's happening on the screen etc). I thought G-Sync will be a perfect solution for it, but if it is going to noticably increase the input lag when we reaching or exceeding G-Sync frame rate ...

Re: How will SLI work with g-sync?
I've read somewhere that G-Sync is supposed to "heal" SLI microstuttering? Maybe it was just a rumor
