Got the ULMB options activated by unplugging the monitor and plugging it back in. ULMB seems capped at 144hz and turns off if I go to 200 or above. Buzzkill certainly and looks like the press release details may be an accident or I'm missing something.

Just got it - Early thoughts: Can't get ULMB running, its grayed out even at 120hz. Tried G-sync enabled / disabled. Not any special details in the included documentation. Any suggestions? There are no noticeable pixel inversion lines like I easily noticed with the PG278Q. I am incredibly relieved. ...

I'll give that a shot. Will see if my camera is good enough, if not I should be able to secure a higher end one next week.

This should be a TN panel instead of VA.

Well I did order an XB252Q which is arriving tomorrow. I'll try to post my thoughts this weekend.

If its while moving only then its the inversion I'm talking about. If its not moving then its just the pixel grid.

Do any owners notice any kind of vertical line texturing during movement? Sometimes called pixel inversion. I returned my PG278Q due to this issue but it seems to be a normal artifact with that panel. This is likely the same panel as the upcoming Acer and Asus 240hz monitors so would be good to know...

Could be only the VA panel does 240hz, as they're all lumped together at the end. Will have to wait for more details / review.

Haven't seen posts about these but they're claimed to be arriving in February. https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/press/2017/223107 Both are 240hz TN 1080p GSYNC and ULMB enabled at up to 200hz according to the press release. The similar spec'd Asus PG258Q 240hz monitor coming this month is limited to 14...

Can anyone comment on the effectiveness of enabling ULMB from the hidden service menu? Someone has said it works and someone has said its bugged.

Well I put my 590 in to test it and it worked. And I just now put the 1080 back in and it remembered the 120hz lightboost configuration without issue.

I'll post back if I have any more trouble.
