Nevermind guys! The program I was sent (Toastyx Strobelight) actually fixed it for me! Its now 120Hz instead of 144hz but I can barely tell anyway. It looks like the program enabled the "NVIDIA 3D" option in the monitor settings somehow and set the slider to max.
