I don't get anything like that. I'm on a 27" monitor and when playing games, my eyes are between 45-50cm (18-20") away from the screen.

So am I correct in understanding that the options are: A) screen tearing (no v-sync) B) extra 200ms or so latency (due to v-sync issue with DLSS 3) ?? Not sure what you mean. I cap my FPS to something that makes each game feel consistent by avoiding big changes in frame rate. Games feel different to me if they run at at 90FPS in one spot but 160 in another. What's the refresh rate? You need 60Hz/120Hz/180Hz/240Hz to watch a 60FPS video without stutter. VRR won't work unless you video player actually works with VRR.

If NVCP is set to "application controlled" then it's gonna be OFF if you disable it in the game.

Do you mean vsync off via Nvida or the Game? Normally Nvidia's standard settings is to let the game decide and when its turned off there, there shouldnt be problems, right? Or should we make sure to turn vsync off in nvidia also? It didn't matter. Vsync was always enabled when g-sync first released...
