Seems like a pain in the ass to update the firmware version Falkentyne :/

I won't buy a Mstar Unit myself for the porpuse and i don't own a Linux (ubuntu) machine, neither have knowledge to function with linux either.

I got my XL2430T on April of the current year. Just checked my firmware version in the service menu, V0001-20140702.

If you could guide me on how to update the firmware version i could give it a look.

I've just followed this guide making sure to set up a custom resolution for the VT and turning single strobe on in the service menu. What do you get by doing the VT tweak? It seems to make the monitor brighter? Also I'm not sure what turning single strobe to on does but I did it anyway - My monitor...

Somehow i managed to get it done. When i'm on CS:GO with 1280x960 @ 120Hz, VT 1500 is working and if check the OSD menu it says i'm currently on 1920x1080 @ 120Hz. Now i Alt+tab from the game and back to the game in less than a sec like i used to.

You told on a previous post that there was a way to know if you were doing the gpu scaling right by checking the resolution in the OSD menu... How can i check that?
