Re: How to make sure games use my custom res.?
Hi, thanks for all the replies, here a few things. So i just noticed that when i create a custom resolution in nvidia CP it will delete the 120hz entry from the default 1440p and move to the custom 1440p. So now the default only has 144hz, 100hz and 60hz to select from the and new 1440p only has 12...

Re: How to make sure games use my custom res.?
By OSD (on screen display menu) of monitor. Just press menu button and find information about current resolution and refresh rate. It's in System - Information sections if I recall correctly. Yeah true, but how do I know if that's the custom resolution i've created or the default one? It only shows...

How to make sure games use my custom res.?
Hi,
just got the XL2735 and set up a custom res @120hz with VT tweaks and now I'm wondering how I can confirm that games actually use the custom res. and not the default one?
In all games I checked I can only see 1440p@120hz once, so I'm wondering, does the custom res. overwrite the default?
thx

Re: Best monitor for fast-paced FPS games?
I'm pretty sure you don't need to use Vsync for ULMB, you just need to make sure your fps matches your monitor hz.

Re: Best monitor for fast-paced FPS games?
I think I've already read everything I can about strobing, the problem is, there just aren't any proper reviews that test input lag/response time AND strobing. The only website I know who has a few reviews like that is tftcentral but not for every monitor. I'm looking at the Benq XL2735 or the Asus ...

Re: Best monitor for fast-paced FPS games?
I kinda have the same question as Spyro but I'd like to know what monitor would be the best when it comes to using strobing with the lowest input/processing lag possible, above all else at 1440p. I'm using an old samsung 120hz right now that has this janky strobing mode that sadly adds a ton of lag,...

Re: Crossfire on = input lag?
Does anybody know if mantle/dx12 will help reduce input lag?
I'm currently using mantle in bf4 with a 7990 and it feels very responsive at 100-120fps (no vsync, 1000hz mouse), can't really compare it with dx11 since i'm getting lower fps with it.

Ah ok, didn't know if Gsync was the limiting factor or something else.Edmond wrote: Ofcourse it wont. F/A/Gsync or any other variable refresh rate needs a flicker free monitor. ....

Re: BenQ announces 144hz 1440p FreeSync [XL2730Z]
Since Gsync can't run with ULMB mode active, I was wondering if Benqs motion blur reduction will work while freesync is active.
Any word on that?
