That monitor looks really nice. Now I am not 100% if I'm going to hold out for the 21:9, or just get that one on the cheap.... :-/

I'm in the same boat... finally have a GOOD comp (Gigabyte Z97-UDH5, Intel 4690K, EVGA GTX 970)... AND I have the money to get a monitor, but the market seems to be right in the middle of a major shift. The wait is the WORST, but I know it'll be worth it (I hope).

It was briefly talked about in another thread, but I figured I'd ask here... how much do you all expect this monitor to cost? My original budget for a 27" was going to be $700-800... but I will DEFINITELY wait for this beauty instead. It was stated in another thread to expect this monitor to cost $1...

I am waiting for the Acer XB270HU, but I REALLY want to get a curved 21:9 monitor(@1440p). Which monitors (if any) should I be looking at? I have seen "spec sheets" for a few different upcoming 21:9s... which of any are going to be good for gaming? My IDEAL budget would be $650-800, but if I have to...
