Re: UDP packet always UNREPLIED.
iperf is the way to diagnose any problem with udp packets, basically it will send a "known data" to a server and compares the sent data with the received data, i remember when i was on adsl , i had like 15% udp packet loss and sometimes more the problem with iperfs is that it use a 1 location server...

Re: Grounding PC case
Is this the WinkliYT guy? I don't really trust him. He seems to be someone who believes more in placebos and claims to have fixed something without actually making any real improvements. For instance, he asserted that he fixed Valorant's hit registration with RAM timings. yes it's the guy who claim...

Re: The most common reason so many people have input lag problems these days.
so that means that if you make sure that your ground is good and have as low as possible resistance (<100ohms) the issue will be highlly mitigated ?, it's funny that you talk about that, because i've ordered a ground resistance tester today personnaly i've a dedicated power line from the utillity ,o...

Re: Can you get banned for using Clumsy to raise your ping?
get an openwrt router , install a package called netem
it can rise ping & simulate packet loss for both directions, it's safe to use since clumsy is flaged by some anticheat system, and you can be banned for that

Re: My experience with all sorts of Problems regularly mentioned here.
i'm actually experiencing the same problem with exactly the same symptoms, except that sometimes for unknown reasons , and randomly some days are way way better, i get very low desync during my gaming session, and most of times it's so bad that you've a feeling that your guns shoots marshmallows i'v...

Re: my findings
3) And last but least important is configuring the RAM timings or resetting the BIOS gave me a few moments of perfect gaming. i can confirm that, doing any changes in my bios like modding ram timings, gave me 1 hour with good hitreg & no descync i noticed also that when doing changes in bios, the P...

Re: Effects of assymetric latency on online FPS.
Server desync is a nice way to put it, but that's only putting a name to the issue (and one that is quite overloaded in meaning) rather than explaining what it is or how it is caused. I agree that I'm reaching the point where I don't think the issue is PC or EMI related, I've had different computer...

Re: Effects of assymetric latency on online FPS.
I play quake and overwatch and probably have thousands of hours in both games by now, my main symptoms in this game with regard to network latency is: hitreg - I can miss the enemy entirely and score hits, and vice versa, I can land exactly on their heads and get noregs in cases where it doesn't ma...
