Re: Do affordable 27" 1440p 144hz monitors exist?
Well I decided to get the Dell U2515H. It's really affordable for the specs. I'll just have to wait for 144hz 1440p to drop in price.

Do affordable 27" 1440p 144hz monitors exist?
I'm looking to buy a 27" 1440p TN 144hz monitor. The only one I was able to find was the absurdly expensive ROG Swift. Do any alternatives exist?

I've tried both, and I would say it is noticeable, but less so than jumping from 60 to 96.

None of the HDMI versions are overclockable, only DVI are as far as I know. Also adding HDMI adds additional signal processing, which increases lag. If overclocking is a must, then I would go with the QX2710 Evo II and it's a solid choice and has a very intensive thread for it here: http://www.overc...

$8500... I wonder how much cheaper it would be to build it yourself. Probably half or so?

At that price range, the Korean IPS monitors are pretty much the way to go. I have the QX2710 Evo II and it looks great and I was able to overclock it to 110hz without artifacts. However, the model you linked is NOT overclockable http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsales/comments/2cubm1/monitor_qnix_qx2...
