I have both X 25f and X 27 and I can say 2k 27'' is a pretty noticable upgrade. You gotta need a powerful pc too of course

Re: HP Omen X 27 (1440p, 240HZ)
It's fine for me. Dark areas were too dark by default until I changed settings
I use this, try it if you want:

Re: 24.5 vs 27" Differences
360hz is going to be IPS and it looks like you were using TN all the time, just food for thought If I were you I'd wait for that 540hz TN instead I myself went from Omen X 25f 240hz 1080p 24.5'' TN to Omen X 27 240hz 1440p 27'' TN no regrets and will most likely not change the monitor to anything le...

Re: Omen X25 vs Strobed IPS 240hz
You can't really compare strobe/non-strobe. You will have to sacrifice something
Pick your poison:
1. Strobe crosstalk, decreased brightness, flicker (some people may have fatigue because of it), but clearer image
2. A bit of blur

Re: Help in deciding what to buy.
TN 240hz suggestions: If you don't plan to use strobing omen x 25 (x 25f) is the fastest and cheapest choice If you want to go bigger - omen x 27 (27'' 1440p@240hz) that's just a tiny bit slower than x 25 If you want strobing - benq xl2546k Source: Used x 25f, using x 27 now. I chose monitors accord...

Re: I'm desperate.Help me choose a monitor
My eyes hurt when brightness is too high, on all my monitors I've always been setting it to low values like 20-30 That also happens when there are light reflections (from windows, lamps e.t.c.) on the screen, I close curtains for that and turn off light My vision sometimes has "doubling" effect if I...

Re: Horizontal black/white lines on ASUS VG248QE
My older XL2411T started glitching previous year in different ways after 10 years of use, but it was easily fixed by replacing a bunch of capacitors. Maybe yours need some service too Though it seems like that also happened for brand new monitors... In any case if it were me I would try that out if ...

Re: Acer Nitro XV252QF 390Hz vs Alienware AW2521H 360Hz vs HP Omen X27 240Hz??
I would personally skip current 240hz+ IPS panels since they don't have good enough pixel response times to fully take advantage of higher refresh rate meaning they have more blur than they should (no strobing scenario). Also if you look at the rtings monitor data tables IPS have a bit less input la...
