Re: Significant RetroArch BFI Update
- Algorithm to auto select 'decent' Dark Frames choice, for any given selected BFI refresh rate. Will also avoid defaults that can cause Image Retention at any Hz higher than 120. (Impossible to avoid at 120 if you have an affected screen... get an OLED :D ) . I can't believe I missed this message,...

Re: OLED questions from a visual neuroscientist
Is there any way that fairly new Forum members like me can post a link or image (this is currently blocked for me)? You should be able to post images now. One comment. For saying "true CRT replacement", it most assurdedly certainly is not, as CRT is an impulse driven display and OLED is a sample an...

Re: Help understanding the pursuit camera sync track.
Since you say this is a single-laser phosphor projector, it's possible it's a 4-segment color wheel where you've got a long R phosphor segment, short G phosphor segment, long B phosphor segment (or clear if it's a blue laser), short G phosphor segment, in this proportion: RRGBBG, basically, R as 1/3...

Re: Help understanding the pursuit camera sync track.
I'm testing two different DLP projectors. On the left is 1080p240hz from a single laser phosphor color wheel light source, on the right is 1080p240hz from a 4LED (RGB+Boost B) light source. I'm trying to understand why the sync track rainbow effect is aligned RGB on the right, but alternating BGR, ...

Re: OLED questions from a visual neuroscientist
It's my understanding on the thin film transitor active matrix system (found on nearly all lithographed LCD and OLED screens) -- the gate of OLED transistors have a very brief change of voltage as the pixel refresh hits the transitor. In a row-column addressing system (grid of subpixels), you are re...

Kudos to RTINGS for the appropriate Blur Busters callout for the pursuit camera -- thank you!

Unplug/reset(in settings) - no result. Thanks for the response though. Unfortunately it's "RMA is more effort than buying a new one" kind of situation so I'm gonna have to live with it a̶n̶d̶ ̶s̶t̶o̶p̶ ̶u̶s̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶d̶a̶r̶k̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶m̶e̶s̶ until it bothers me enough QA may not have tested monitors si...

Re: VRR...move tearline possible?
I’ve read so many threads and post here to learn a lot of this stuff. And this might be what I was looking for finally. Halo infinite stutters no matter what if you frame cap with vrr, (every single cap I know of) and every time it causes a tear with vsync off, and a hitch with vsync on. Do you thi...

Yes, it will include a DP cable (at least it has historically been included)
