Re: 120hz refresh + 60fps rendered + vsync = ?

Hi pneu, as i understand the topic there would be an advantage of ~8ms, because you would decrease the refresh-cycle-time from 16,6 to 8,3 ms. But im not really sure about the correlation of frame doubling. In the end you will "convert" your only frame per refresh cycle into two seperate cycles, wit...

Re: CS:GO input lag test - multicore rendering

devi, could you please repeat your test with a fps lock at 128 frames [maybe 64 AND 128 tick with this framerate] ?! In my opinion the drawtimes of the frames result in originate in the difference between lock and tickrate. Thank you in advance. EDIT: Oh sorry, I overlooked your second image. Would ...

125 Hz display as factor for 1000Hz mouse + frame-cap

Hi, i have a theoretical question and maybe a new research-topic: I am currently playing with a 1000Hz Mouse, 120Hz Lightboost and a frame-cap in BF3 of 121 fps. In CSGO I left my fps uncapped [getting around 300-600]. Now my consideration: Wouldn't it be better to set my refresh-rate to 125Hz and c...

Re: XL2720Z broken?

I don't know the actual problem, therefore an advanced user needs to help you in this case. But you could try a little workaround, if you have an iGPU. Then you could activate it in BIOS/UEFI and connect your secondary monitor onto that iGPU. Afterwards only your primary monitor will be adjustable i...

Re: How does limiting 2 fps below refresh rate help mouse la

okay, thank you for your answer. I really appreciate your activity in this forum and your answer's quality! I will keep my 125fps lock in BF3. I have a few remaining questions: 1.) In CS:GO i locked my frames on 241 fps, which i can outreach everytime. Is there a better value or should I keep it? 2....

Re: How does limiting 2 fps below refresh rate help mouse la

After reading this topic I tried several different refresh-rates myself and will post my thoughts and experiences about them: Note: I am using an Asus VG278HE with 120Hz Lightboost @ 10% Brightness. My normal BF3 gameplay depends on the 120Hz Lightboost in combination with a 125fps Framelock [VSync ...
