No Longer Need To Cap Fps With Rivatuner?

I was just reading this article by Nvidia http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/g-sync-gets-even-better I saw this "For enthusiasts, we’ve included a new advanced control option that enables G-SYNC to be disabled when the frame rate of a game exceeds the maximum refresh rate of the G-SYNC monito...

G-Sync Alt Tab Glitch?

Just got the Acer xb2420h from microcenter 3 days ago. While in windowed fullscreen, fullscreen, or windowed mode, when I alt tab/click a different window, the fps in game drops to 20fps or so. I was wondering if this is just a g-sync thing or what? I have fullscreen and windowed in nvidia control p...

About to get Acer XB240H need help!!!

So here's my dilema. I want to play black desert online, a new mmorpg coming out in the next few months, and league of legends. In league i get well over 144fps, more like 500+. In black desert I get around 30-40 on ultra. I want to have this monitor for pro league play and casual mmorpg play. I hea...

Re: BenQ XL2430T Questions

The Service menu lets you make all the changes to strobe duty, strobe phase and single strobe. It is like the windows blur busters utility, except you have more control over the strobe phase. The windows utility allows all strobe duty values 001-030, but strobe phase is limited to 000-047 so that p...

Re: BenQ XL2430T Questions

It lost much of its light? I assume you had single strobe enabled? So you owned this monitor before and got rid of it? I've tested 60hz single strobe. Besides the input lag you get from 60hz, it's playable with vsync as long as you are using strobe phase 100. Using strobe phase of 000 gives 1 frame...

Re: BenQ XL2430T Questions

The tick you listed about hue and saturation was *found out* by yours truly, back on my XL2720Z. I'm sure it still works now, considering the profile bugs still work. And the 1 frame input lag improvement isn't the big story. It's the improved AMA you can get on the XL2720Z. I'm on my laptop so I'l...

Re: BenQ XL2430T Questions

The pixel density isn't a problem on the XL2720Z. I'm using one right now and I have two 24" VG248QE's to compare it to. It's only a problem if your head is right up to the monitor and I simply can't go back to the 24" monitors--the screens just look too small. The AMA improvements you can do on th...

Re: BenQ XL2430T Questions

Tom's hardware is wrong. You can adjust the motion blur using HDMI. All you have to do is go into the service menu and change single strobe to enabled. Then you turn on single strobe and can change the strobe phase and strobe duty as you see fit. You just can't adjust the motion blur if single stro...

BenQ XL2430T Questions

Hey everyone I'm looking to purchase the BenQ XL2430T, but am left in a bit of a dilemma after reading a Tom'sHardware review on it. You see I'm trying to find a monitor i can use both for my ps4, xbox1 and PC. I read on this review that you cant adjust the motion blur while using hdmi, which is wha...
