Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
Why is the LG 27GK750F-B 2ms Response Time if it has the same panel has the Acer Predator XB272 that is 1ms Response Time?

Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
I'm not sure that "better" is the exact case, but if you're looking for 240hz strobing, this LG is definitely better. But if you need gsync (and dont mind strobing), XB272 is fine. I suppose they both are on the same AUO panel (XB272 is "frameless" version of this panel, LG is "normal") In my count...

Is this monitor better than the Acer Predator XB272?
I bought the Acer Predator XB272 because it was the only 27"/1080p/240Hz on the BlurBusters monitor list when I looked at the list to decide which one to buy, but I'm still on time to return it and buy the LG 27GK750F-B.

Re: Using 240Hz monitor via Thunderbolt
What new unit -- a different model of a monitor? Or a different model of adaptor? Got a new unit of the same 240Hz monitor (ACER Predator XB272). How many adaptors have you tried? What are their brand names? The adaptors I have tried are the Club3D CAC-1115 and the Accell UltraAV . Before these 2 g...

Re: Using 240Hz monitor via Thunderbolt
I have tried a bunch of Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables, but all of them were crap except the this last one from Accell that I have tried, which supports up to 4K 60Hz and it's VESA certified. The only cable left that I could try it's the Club3D CAC-1115 which supports up to 8K 60Hz and it's ...

Re: Using 240Hz monitor via Thunderbolt
Refresh rate is irrelevant, it doesn't work at all when connected with a MiniDP to DP cable, shows "No signal" in screen. The laptop detects that something is connected tho, coz it applies the multimonitor settings. I have done a number of different tests and now I know the problem. Tests I have don...

Using 240Hz monitor via Thunderbolt
I have bought an ACER Predator XB272 (27", 1080p, 240Hz, G-SYNC, ULMB). When connecting it to my laptop's (CLEVO P377SM-A, GeForce GTX 980M, Windows 10) Thunderbolt port, using an Accell's VESA certified MiniDisplayPort to DisplayPort cable, it doesn't work at all ("no signal"). It works on HDMI tho...

Re: Best monitor for fast-paced FPS games?
Should I play Quake with ULMB enabled? Coz I have seen a review of the ASUS PG258Q by a hot asian girl where she says that ULMB limits the monitor to 144Hz. So if ULMB is capped at 144Hz and it should be enabled while playing... I see no reason to get a 240Hz monitor over a 144Hz for Quake LUL. :mrg...
