Re: Asus Tuf VG27BQ
Hi I have tried to set it to single refresh mode, and it works, and looks decent, did not investigate that too much to be honest as its not what I bought it for The 2 top pixel issue does not exist on my monitor at least, I guess Asus fixed it in later revisions 165hz in vrr mode with ELMB-sync does...

Re: Asus VG27AQL1A ELMB with Gsync?
If it uses same implementation as the VG27AQ, VG27BQ then the EMLB-Sync is totally useless as it double strobes at all refreshrates
I have the VG27BQ and it is totally useless the ELMB-Sync on this display
Maybe they have fixed this on this monitor but I highly doubt it

Re: Asus Tuf VG27BQ
This monitor makes no sense to me Sometimes when you start it, everything works pretty well with ELMB-Sync, and some other times it has such severe ghosting that it gets unplayable. I have tried many different FPS limits, even added some custom resolution with CRU with very high Vertical total and a...

Re: Asus Tuf VG27BQ
Please do not get me wrong,
I am not recommending this monitor. I think their implementation is absolutley terrible
Just that it is even worse than it could be

Asus Tuf VG27BQ
Hi everyone, I could not resist to buy one even though I heard alot of bad stuff about ELMB-Sync and these monitors Anyway it is really not a good implementation of ELMB, But things I have found that helps alot that I would assume are same on the IPS and VA variance of these screens For example, I g...

I have a Acer 165hz 1440p Gsynch monitor and yes as the other person wrote I would not go with anything bside Gsynch. It just is so much smoother play even at high refreshrates at least to my eyes And tearing of course non existent, doing a 360 turn on gsynch in Battlefield 5 is butter smooth for me...

Re: How do I eliminate frametime spikes from FPS drops (Gsyn
For frametime spikes and full halt in frames I noticed this happens with Hpet system timer enabled. bcdedit /set useplatformclock true Try disabling it by bcdedit /set useplatformclock false See if it helps you You need to reboot computer before it takes effect You need to be in command promt with a...

Re: Z271 vs XB271HU (costs 28% more). What would you choose?
I actually did have the Z271 for a short period of time before refunding it and getting a XB271HU The Z271 has some weird flicker issue even at high fps Maybe the one I got was worse than it should have been, but the image clarity is not even near the XB271HU and I would never chose it over the XB27...

I would like to see one that never flickers like ours do
Hence as soon as they release that I will 100% be a customer even if it costs $3k
But not much more than that
