If you want 4:3 in CS:Go, you should be using 1440x1080 resolution. This is the 4:3 version of 1080p. Then you would set "1:1" or "Aspect" in Display Mode (these are the exact same thing in this case). Setting "full" would stretch 1440x1080 to 16:9 which looks bad. Easy solution: Go to picture advanced and display mode and set it to fullscreen. Changing the vertical total make the monitor think that 1080p isn't the native resolution so "Aspect" becomes available when it should be greyed out at 1920x1080.
