182hz tweak w/ XL2540 question
Hey. Just wondering if it's better to use 182 fps @ 182hz (Area 0, blur reduction on) for strobing or keep it at an uncapped framerate for lower input lag, while still leaving it on 182hz. Are there any detriments to not having a matching framerate? Thanks!

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
Alright, got it. Next question: should I have AMA set to Off, High or Premium?
Also if anyone has any VT suggestions for this monitor please share. 1500 at 180hz works but I don't know if it's optimal.

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
I'm using a custom mode set in Nvidia as 180hz, 1500 VT, Area 0, Intensity 10, but no idea how to get into the factory menu. Is it not the same as the service menu? Do you have any idea how to get into it for the XL2540? I tried holding down button 3+4 while turning the monitor on, didn't work. http...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
To be honest I don't notice a difference between between 180 and 240 with BR on and they both seem inferior Are you using large Vertical Totals, and then adjusting Area setting, to reduce the double-image effect? Also, you can mimic LightBoost 10% by using a shorter "Strobe Duty" setting in service...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
To be honest I don't notice a difference between between 180 and 240 with BR on and they both seem inferior to using the vg248qe at 120 using Strobe Light at 10% brightness, but my take away from the situation is that the new monitor definitely has a better overall picture in comparison to the Asus ...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
I also need to know what intesity/area I should be using, if I do choose to use 240hz with blur reduction on. Should they just be left as their defaults?

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
Anyone have any recommendations for configuring this monitor? I'm using the FPS 1 preset and it's fine in-game but I'd like something for desktop use as well.

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
Hey, I'm looking at buying this monitor to replace my VG248QE which I use with Strobelight at 10% brightness for Overwatch, what kind of improvements will I see? I have no problems reaching 240 fps, but I want to know that the upgrade justifies the actual cost of the monitor itself before committing.
