Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
Any reason BenQ didn't enable Blur Reduction mode but why did they keep it in the service menu? I don't get it. No GSYNC or Blur Reduction made me totally ignore this monitor but with blur reduction (equals to ULMB right?) it slightly interests me. If it can't cope with 240Hz, at least give us as h...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
So...? I still don't know which Area/ intensity settings are preferable to minimize motion blur etc. e.g. best picture quality with lowest input. Thanks in advance Nobody really knows at this point and there is no best setting for what you ask. General logic dictates that the longer you let the pix...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
OD-Gain? Sorry if that is a stupid question but I have nowhere seen this in service menu, It is in the factory menu: keep the 3rd and 4th button pushed while powering on the monitor. When the monitor is on, use the 5th button to toggle on/off the factory menu. Unfortunately, parameter changes in th...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
Thank you very much! I got your email about the XL2735 also. I'm still not going to pull the trigger on this monitor especially if I have to mess with the OD Gain setting to get decent overdrive. Maybe if Amazon has a big sale on it in the future... OD-Gain? Sorry if that is a stupid question but I...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
Area? All I can tell you is, 100 has 1 frame lower inputlag than 000, 000 will have slightly less crosstalk but 1 frame higher input lag. That is ASSUMING the Area value functions like it did in the XL2430T, XL2730, XL2735, etc. This monitor MAY respond to improved crosstalk from increasing the ver...
