Hm interesting. So if I go with a gpu enough to pass the 240fps in some games, but not in others, i could switch to 120hz and enable the BR in a XL2540, right?

Hi all, I'm looking to the same thing... My plan is to go with Radeon, so i've searched freesync monitors, first the XG2401, but then the Agon AG251FZ 240hz (the Benq's are more expensive).
