Re: For non gsync and non freesync users best option
I tested frame times with afterburner and rtss for cs go to prove how good is low lag vsync on trick. This time i tested vsync off + rtss fps limit 62 + ingame vsync disabled vs rtss fps limit fractional 59.873 + ingame vsync double buffered. vsync off + rtss fps limit 62 + ingame vsync disabled htt...

Re: For non gsync and non freesync users best option
i tested the frametimes and fps in cs go with the frafs bench viewer and it looks like the chief and the realnc are right, for the 60hz standard monitors i got better results with vsync on ingame + rtss fps limit 59.872 than with the Enhanced sync + rtss fps limit 59.872 + vsync disabled ingame, so...

Re: For non gsync and non freesync users best option
Chief is right, i found in cs go its best to play on vsync off uncapped fps, if i use enhanced sync without cap in amd drivers game badly stutter and lag, also stutter if i use enhanced sync and cap in game, and third best option after vsync off is enhanced sync + rtss fps limit i use 2x refresh rat...

For non gsync and non freesync users best option

Re: Force vsync on on amd cards
Chief, i'm on new radeon adrenaline driver, if you know what version of catalyst driver work with vsync on i will appreciate that.
Edit: No it's not working with old catalyst drivers, only with d3doverrider fps it's 60.

Force vsync on on amd cards
I read the article low lag vsync on, but i'm confused how to force vsync on on amd cards, there is enhanced sync option that work but vsync on in radeon control panel only work with opengl games not directx, is there is any solution to force vsync on beside radeon drivers, or i need to use enhanced ...

Re: Capping fps to 30 on amd cards
An in game framerate cap is the lowest latency. RTSS is 1 frame higher than that, and Radeonpro is yet higher than RTSS. Framerate caps won't prevent tearing, for that you need v-sync(or freesync). As for stuttering, the framerate limiters with more latency will be better at smoothing out hitches, ...
