Re: how enable DyAc on ZOWIE XL2735
no problem. nah only 15 mins to run through the GetControl commands once your in the groove of mashing buttons. Its just a shame the factory menu setting doesn't stick in between power cycles. If it did stick then not an issue to set it once and forget. Thanks for your support anyway, the utility is...

Re: how enable DyAc on ZOWIE XL2735
Further to this. The factory menu range is reported as such: 00, 01, 02........09, 0A, 0B........ 0F, 10, 11......... Range is 00 to 100 (or 0 to 256 decimal?) So is this hexadecimal in itself and therefore 65 in the factory menu is actually 101 decimal. But I should perhaps look for 0065 in the com...

Re: how enable DyAc on ZOWIE XL2735
OK. So I went through the GetControl commands 0-9 and A-F 00, 01, 02...... 0A, 0B, 0C... 10, 11, 12...... 1A, 1B, 1C... all the way through to 9F and then all the through to FF A0, A1, A2...... AA, AB, AC... Did not see a value of 0041 :( My commands came back as such however, not the full code as y...

Re: how enable DyAc on ZOWIE XL2735
right, read your post again and played with the Manufacture specific options So the command line is: Manufacturer specific - 0xF0 It only has 3 settings however: 0, 1 and 2 i.e. OFF, High, Premium None of the other sliders seem to do anything, at least regards AMA Edit: after setting 40 in the facto...

Re: how enable DyAc on ZOWIE XL2735
I have had a good scan through the Monitor Control Command Set within the softMCCS UI and I can't seem to find anything relating to Overdrive or AMA or values of 65 or 0x41. Not sure if I'm missing something. Have to agree Re. 1440p and strobing. I rubbed salt into my own wounds as bought a Acer 144...

Re: how enable DyAc on ZOWIE XL2735
I tried this when I first got the monitor And reading this lead me to retry.... The default setting for AMA High is 65 in the service menu. However I want to use 40 as this seems a lot better for ghosting. If I set 40 in the service menu it just defaults back to High (65) after a power cycle. I have...

Re: Best IPS vs TN for paced gaming
Sorry for reviving a dead thread but I am really interested in your opinion of the XB271HU How did you get on in the end? I am personally struggling with this panel for games like Quake/UT. Where as similar to you my old 120Hz TN panel with BenQ blur reduction was perfect. But looked like crap due t...

Ok thanks,
Unfortunately the XL2735 is out of my price range as I wont be able to sell the Acer to cover the cost Expecting to loose at least £100 on it.

Re: 1440p Advice, XL2730/35 blur reduction. Best options?
So I'm torn between
BenQ ZOWIE XL2730
&
Acer Predator XB241YU
Anyone have experience with these panels? Not fussed about g-sync. And am tempted to go back to 24" tbh.
1440p is a must, as is some sort of blur reduction tech for anyone wanting to recommend something else.
Many thanks,
Coe.

My panel just shits in pants if I try 165z, wont accept the OC.RealNC wrote:You can also try 165Hz. You can enable support for that mode in the OSD.
