Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]
Is this MBR (PureXP+) works with G-Sync? Because I play game with fps fall to 60, even with 1080ti and 1080p, so I dont know if this is function and monitor is for me. verllar, be aware the XG270 is also losing brightness when enabling its blur reduction mode at its current state, as witnessed here...

Re: Acer VBR is sooo dark
hi verllar, if you can. can you please tell me if you can enable VRB in your Acer VG270U at 60hz? i ask because i see in the acer monitor specs website, at the "features" section (NITRO VG0 Model Name: VG270U) https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/UM.HV0AA.P01 that they show a image of a fight...

Re: Digital Foundry - CRT better then 4K OLED
nice to see blur busters crew helping tuning modern monitors for the best experience, but as much as i would like modern display technology to finally match the old CRT for gaming, after waiting eternally and undoubtedly being better than a TN monitor, i still have my doubts that ViewSonic XG270 mon...

Re: Less motion blur - CRT or LCD at 60Hz?
IPS black level is even worse than other non IPS monitors i have seen especially when you play a dark game on a darker enviroment. IPS lights coming from the corners of the screen really ruin the exprience of feeling the game darkness. no offence but also not just for the black levels but that high ...

Re: Digital Foundry - CRT better then 4K OLED
there is no need to read the entire thread there, use the search function, search words such "dpu3000" "sunix" "delock" also search for user "derupter", he has provided very usefull info about DAC adapters. now that you seem from europe, there seems to be an adapter (delock 62967) cheaper than the s...

Re: Digital Foundry - CRT better then 4K OLED
most cheap adapter are poor quality: low refresh, limited resolution, i suggest to search the web for fw900 widescreen, there is a very large and old thread forum about this monitor that covers most of the fw900 info and people there have done very good contributions about this and other CRT monitor...

Re: Analog output has Higher latency on modern Graphics card
;) i also have realized that using software interpolation while watching the videos locally in my pc, at slowest speeds, allow to better apreciate the time diference between the button - key pressing - moving and the reaction on the screen, for example i used "media player classic" video player soft...

Re: I have a BenQ/Zowie XL2740, and I love it.
just my personal opinion but i think tests like the moving photo street map can be more convenient to have better idea of motion blurring than the moving ufo, since that way you can clearly read text on the moving map if there is no blur, and easier see double text if there is double image due to do...
