Re: Custom resolution on GSync 360hz monitors
Kept the pixelclock about the same. Lowered the vertical total. Cannot even up the hz to 383hz. The screen go's black. I am starting to think 480hz on the asus pg248qp withouth DSC is a meme (or even using CRU on the pg248qp is) Like back in the day when Mortal Kombat 1 came out on the snes and some...

Re: Custom resolution on GSync 360hz monitors
You are able to use custom refresh rates on gsync module monitors, but there is a caveat that comes along with this. You cannot modify active pixels for different resolutions. Re: Overclocking PG248QP non DCS from 360hz to 480hz

If the calculations exceeded the bandwidth limitations for a given connection, then I marked it off. Pretty straightforward unless you think the calculator is wrong....

Re: New Zowie Monitor 540Hz XL2586X
It seems that u cannot disable DSC on this monitor... why use HDMI 2.1 then? My pg248qp does have this option. This will prob be a dealbraker for me...

Re: The DSC plague strikes again
Therefore I would advise people to not purchase any monitor that relies on it to function or otherwise turn it off if you can. Thats why I wont be getting the new Zowie XL2586X u cannot disbale DSC! My Asus pg248qp can. I dont understand Zowie why they leave that option out when they use a hdmi 2.1...
