Re: Juddery 30FPS on 60hz CRT
Sadly I don't see the gaming that I play going to the PC anytime soon (Demon souls, The Last of us, Halo 4 and many others) I guess I'll just learn to live with it!

Re: Juddery 30FPS on 60hz CRT
I'm pretty interested in the Sony Motionfow. I'm going to give it a try. Your CRT is a better Solution than a Sony's Motionflow Impulse TV: You would still get the double-image effect with it anyway. And you would get that "+1 extra frame latency" (around 16.7 msec) added to the imput lag chain. Ah...

Re: Juddery 30FPS on 60hz CRT
Double-image effect always occur during half framerate situations on flicker/strobed displays (e.g. CRT 30fps@60Hz, plasma 30fps@60Hz, LightBoost 60fps@120Hz, etc). It is unavoidable. You can buy a television that converts the 30fps to full frame rate (framrate == refreshrate), but many of those ar...

Juddery 30FPS on 60hz CRT
Made a thread recently about getting a HD CRT monitor. Great news is that I finally got my hands on one! 60FPS games look AMAZING but when it comes to 30 FPS I get a double image effect when panning the camera. This happens on the 30FPS ufo test and when I'm playing a game that is locked at 30fps. I...

Re: 1080i CRT vs 1080p LCD
Thanks so much for the help! Ordered one just in time, they just all sold out of them! Can't wait. Picked up a HDFury 3 and a Transcoder for 480p!

Re: 1080i CRT vs 1080p LCD
Do these monitors have a minimum resolution too? I'd like to use a transcoder to play 480P games on the monitor. Does anyone know if this will work?

Re: 1080i CRT vs 1080p LCD
Thanks for the help guys! Just to confirm everything.
This CRT will work with PS3/PS4/360 ect.. (I'm assuming I'll need a HDfury for PS3/4)
I'm plan on buying this soon, I just want to make sure this will work with everything, and I'm not missing out on any information!
-Thanks!

Re: 1080i CRT vs 1080p LCD
I'm located in RI. I'm not having much luck with craigslist. Should I be targeting ebay? I'm willing to pay a pretty good price for one of these. Would something like this work well: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-ViewSonic-P220fb-22-CRT-Color-Monitor/350978622908?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkpar...

Re: 1080i CRT vs 1080p LCD
That's news to me, I thought only the Sony FW900 was only capable of 1080p+ resolutions on a CRT. Will any CRT monitor above 17' be able to display in 1080p? If so what are some good ones to go after? Any thing I should keep in mind when going after CRTS?

1080i CRT vs 1080p LCD
I'm a console gamer and I can't stand motion blur or input delay. I'm currently playing on a Asus 1ms display and it's still unbearable to me :( It seems like my only option to avoid this is to switch to a CRT TV, but as the new consoles are released we're seeing a growing of 1080p resolution games....
