Re: 500hz Mouse on 240hz monitor
The stuff that Chief wrote about positional accuracy explains why my aim has always felt more on-piont when using 500hz on my mice as opposed to a 1000. The benefits varied from mouse to mouse... For example, using 500hz on my g402 (am010 sensor) made a huge difference in how accurate the mouse felt...

Re: Why do 240HZ monitors have more lag than 144HZ AHVA
Tom's Hardware seems to use Leo Bodnar (60Hz) so drop that result. EDIT: Not quite, but something similar via high speed video Thank you chief. I learn a lot every time I read your post. I think Tom's hardware uses high speed camera and they have mentioned that they do test HZ greater than 60HZ. ht...

Lightboost vs ULMB vs Benq BlurR. vs DyAc INPUT LAG
As the title states, I'd be curious to know, what's the input lag difference (if any) between these technologies...
Also, as a side question, does DyAc differ from classic Benq blur reduction in any other area than maximum brightness?

Re: Alienware AW2518H
Sorry to ask again, but do you know how do the benq 240hz (2540, 2546, 2740) monitors compare to the Asus PG258Q?

Thanks for the info! I've learned something new.
Though that leaves me with even more doubts about the freesync model's non-strobed motion clarity...

Re: Alienware AW2518H
Thank you for the fast answer! I take it the nVidia scaler has the potential to produce as sharp an image at 240hz non-strobed as the ASUS model has... but I assume that also depends on how the manufacturer implements it... Anyhow, I ordered the AW2518Hf (the "f" at the end meaning, that it is the f...

Re: Alienware AW2518H
I believe that's probably the Leo Bodnar lag tester, which tests only 60Hz lag. It's true 240Hz monitors aren't currently the best at 60Hz lag, but 60Hz isn't what you are buying the monitor for. Very few sites tests lag during 240Hz mode instead of 60Hz mode. Hy Chief! Long time lurker, first time...
