With the almost instant response times of oled screens, does it even make sense to not use VRR always?
240hz on 90 fps, shouldn't look different than 90fs on 90hz with oled, or did I understood this wrong?

Re: LG 27" 1440p 240hz OLED Ultragear 27GR95QE
picked one up for 750€ on a LG sale and I'm 50 50 on keep or return it blows out of the water my old 27gl850 in terms of motion clarity, and I don't need turbo brightness on SDR as I usually calibrate displays around 110 nits, about 65/70% brightness, and on HDR it's not that bad. So I don't have mu...

Re: ULMB 2 Released
as this in theory is not a driver level but monitor level, should even work with radeon devices, making the choice of a monitor with gsync obvious even if you don't have a nvidia card isn't it?

Re: Do exists any IPS 1440P 144hz ULMB for freesync?
What you essentially have the choice of buying the same panel with or without strobing (since all "165Hz 1440p 1ms IPS" panels currently have the same KSF phosphor). The red ghosting only appears during strobed operation. yeah, I found the LG for 420 while the Viewsonic costs 330€ more here, so a b...

Thanks again Chief, that clarifies a lot of things.
I'm not a fan of the red ghosting, so I think I'll go for the LG27GL850 and call it a day until someone releases something better that tick every checkbox.

Re: Do exists any IPS 1440P 144hz ULMB for freesync?
ULMB is g-sync specific. If you search for ULMB monitors, you will only find g-sync ones. Motion blur reduction is named differently in non-gsync monitors. didn't knew that. with that new info, I managed to find the VG27AQ but everyone says it's crap below 100hz and should be avoided. Are there any...

Do exists any IPS 1440P 144hz ULMB for freesync?
I kinda wanted that, IPS, 1440P, ULMB and Freesync
the most I found was the PG279Q and XB271HU, but both are gsync and I can't find any alternative. I am missing some monitor with this? Or just doesn't exists at all?
