Re: Monitor for Fps gaming

then heavy trtacking games (apex/ow/cod) benefit of ulmb, tact shooter is better high hz for more refresh and low input lag right? Apex caps at 300 fps. You might as well use the XG2431 with PureXP turned on for best motion clarity. Overwatch caps at 600 fps. I think this one comes down to preferenc...

Re: Monitor for Fps gaming

For Valorant and CS GO, do you prefer the XG2431 or the AW2523HF? How is the AW2523HF regarding motion blur? It doesn't have ULMB, right? My mistake, I mixed up the model numbers. I use the AW2521H over the XG2431 in Valorant and CS:GO. The AW2521H only supports ULMB at 240Hz/144Hz and none at 360H...

Re: Monitor for Fps gaming

ULMB/DYAC/STROBING/PUREXP/BFI doesn't benefit you that much in games like CS:GO. I own the XG2431 and AW2523HF and in Valorant/CS:GO I prefer the 360Hz monitor with ULMB off. With that said, the price of the XG2431 and its performance are unreal. I'm waiting for the 540Hz TN display to come out and ...

Re: HELP Chief!Valorant Strange Behaviour

It does not behave well on my pc without fps caps Does your system thermal throttle or something? Higher FPS/Lower system latency should help win fights that come down to peekers advantage. If the problems you're having are netcode related, then I don't think any FPS caps will help in the long-term...

Re: HELP Chief!Valorant Strange Behaviour

I would just turn off any FPS caps and let NVIDIA Reflex manage keeping latency low in VALORANT. That will give you the lowest system latency possible and let your system stretch its legs.

Re: what your theory that many developers don't talk ?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ntd2BLu9Xc4 Good example of a pro player with aim assist in a ranked game. He destroys everyone in his path with aim assist, but as soon as he throws a smoke grenade on the ground his aim assist is completely disabled and he can't hit anything. Some games shouldn't b...

Re: what your theory that many developers don't talk ?

understanding that pure skill isn't always going to be the sole factor of winning consistently in online games due to said technological limitations. Modern FPS game devs are also mixing together MNK players and controller players with heavy aim assist in ranked play. There are no FPS games that ar...

Re: valorant stuttering

Enable Raw Input Buffer if you use a mouse with a polling rate higher than 1000Hz (4000Hz/8000Hz). Can also try this with a 1000Hz mouse to see if there's a difference. Sometimes toggling the setting back and forth (on/off, or off/on) fixes weird mouse issues ingame. Definitely try enabling Raw Inp...

This is typically why enterprise virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) farms are in the same data center as the application/database servers. User applications running on the virtual desktop that are not optimized to go over a WAN/Internet connection won't experience any issues (time outs, slowness, ...
