Re: Xl2566k going black randomly
I had this same behaviour with my Acer XV252q, it was due to a faulty cable. Replacing the cable fixed it for me.

Re: Acer Nitro XV242F (540hz TN) discussion
I reached Acer Store Support and they told me this for Europe : Expected release date: Q2 2024 Recommended price: 649 euros Definitely an interesting price tag considering how expensive is the Asus PG248QP and most likely will be the Zowie XL2586X. Thanks! Added to the post. The price is interestin...

Acer Nitro XV242F (540hz TN) discussion
A cheaper monitor using the same panel as Asus PG248QP but without G-Sync module (and ULMB2?). Similar to how Acer Nitro XV252QF was a cheaper model of the Asus 360 hz. Interestingly, XV252QF turned out to be a lot better than the Asus 360 hz (See thread for XV252QF here ), which makes me excited fo...

Remember to vote for it (ASUS ROG Swift Pro PG248QP), couple of days left and it's couple of votes away from winning!

Here's the source since OP didn't link it, one additional mobo listed there as well. Very interesting indeed, I didn't even know they test for that. Those differences seem very significant.

Re: Breaking the Source engine
Around 1100 it starts to glitch your movement. It looks similar to old ping related rubberbanding where your client goes faster than the server so you get teleported backwards all the time when the server updates.

Re: ZOWIE XL2566K Discussion Thread [24.5" 360hz TN]
Hey Axaro, does your xl2566k also make a faint buzzing/coil whine sound from where the power cable is plugged in? Just trying to gauge whether most units have this or I was just unlucky. For what it's worth I can hear faint buzz when I listen close to the connection on my unit. It's so quiet that I...

Re: Razer 8khz unstable polling rate
Slightly offtopic but on the topic of usb cards:
I just purchased a pcie usb card along with a 8kHz keyboard (I have 4kHz mouse as well). Do you guys plug additional power to the usb card or is the pcie lane enough? (it's x1 slot)
