Re: G-Sync and ULMB at the same time is in fact possible!
I just did this with my 240Hz, and I don't see the point. If i go below the refresh rate in FPS, I get constant black flickering, making gsync useless. I set the refresh rate to 144Hz with + 5 on the vertical total, turned on gsync and ULMB and it's just a flickering black mess in games. EDIT: it se...

Re: G-Sync and ULMB at the same time is in fact possible!
Confirmed does NOT work on Acer XB240H. Adding +5 puts the monitor into lightboost only mode with no ULMB available, and attempting to enable gsync just makes the monitor say no signal

Re: How to overclock G-Sync (Bonus: Unlocked Glitch State)
My XB240H works at 153 Hz as well (and 154 hz with frameskipping). The monitor itself says 144hz though in the menu. So I'm not sure what to believe. The 198hz has always worked when using 'CVT Reduced Blank' which then the monitor DOES say 198hz in the menu

Re: Is it possible to get a decent 144Hz screen? (QC?)
The answer is Acer. here's the XB240H ABPR. best of all? it overclocks to 198hz at 800x600 or 193 hz at 1024x768. and it has GSYNC

Re: XB240H Overclocks to 198 Hz!
I have the HA with gsync.
My monitor NEVER says input not supported, on ANYTHING! it just goes to a black screen and then standby. I purchased it refurbished from ebay about 6 months ago

Re: XB240H Overclocks to 198 Hz!
Update: Managed to get 193 Hz at 1024x768, still unscaled. Much more playable than 800x600, but i'd still like to get more. Something is very weird about this monitor. It seems like it's the firmware that's telling the monitor "OK BLACK SCREEN NOW!", because if I try something like 59 Hz or 65 Hz un...

Re: XB240H Overclocks to 198 Hz!
I just set 800x600 32 bit 198hz progressive with CVT Reduced blank, and it worked instantly. But it also works at these settings: 800x600 199 Hz, 32bit progressive H 800 48 32 1024 + V 600 3 5 950 + 199.000Hz But it's unusable at 800x600 because the screen is unscaled and you only get a tiny picture...

Re: XB240H Overclocks to 198 Hz!
It's true 198 Hz, the monitor itself shows it. I can't get nvidia to scale the resolution to aspect ratio/fullscreen no matter what I try. If there is ANY way you can help me figure out how to get nvidia to scale it bigger it would be a godsend. The screen is so small it's nearly impossible to play ...
