New monitor

Hi Blur Busters, I really wanted to upgrade my monitor after seeing the difference in quality between 60Hz and 75Hz, it was astounding. I would absolutely love to a VA panel, because I value contrast over anything else; color quality has to be in the ball park and I wont mind. I did some research an...

New Nvidia Drivers 337.88

I have successfully managed to get my Samsung SyncMaster S22B310 to run stable at 75Hz, and After playing a few MMOs, I noticed the new refresh rate, and it was beautiful. I went on vacation for about 1.5 months, and I come back, turn on my pc ready to get my game on, and I notice that Nvidia has a ...

Re: Refresh Rates drop in game

The game need to support this. Some games will explicitly switch to the default video mode and do not allow you to change that. Some others will use whatever mode the desktop uses. And some can be configured to use a specific mode. If you want all games to use the higher refresh rate, then you need...

Re: Refresh Rates drop in game

The simplest workaround I have found is to just run my games as a borderless fullscreen window; Very simple and non-intrusive, but itd be nice to run something without having to do this.

Refresh Rates drop in game [fixed]

I have a Samsung Syncmaster S22B310, and using the Nvidia Control Panel, I managed to get it to clock to about 79 Hz before I started experiencing issues with it. I dropped it down to 75 Hz to keep it stable, and i noticed that when I push the menu button on the panel, to adjust its settings, in the...

Cant overclock laptop display

After reading about the successful overclocking of a laptop monitor to 180 Hz, I became curious and wanted to see if my new gaming laptop, iBuypower CZ-15, could get anywhere near this. When I launch the Nvidia control panel, the custom resolution button is completely grayed out, and to be honest, I...
