Re: VRR...move tearline possible?
I’ve read so many threads and post here to learn a lot of this stuff. And this might be what I was looking for finally. Halo infinite stutters no matter what if you frame cap with vrr, (every single cap I know of) and every time it causes a tear with vsync off, and a hitch with vsync on. Do you thi...

Yes, it will include a DP cable (at least it has historically been included)

Re: Got Permanently Banned by "ServiceServices" mod from r/MotionClarity for posting about how good the XG2431 is
Hello, I wish that everyone got along on the Internet better. And I've been quiet this month because I had been very sick during a large portion of April. I apologize. I just wanted to mention that this thread has been moved to the Offtopic Lounge, and will be closed (soon) to new replies as it has ...

Re: [Ethernet Onboard-vs-USB-vs-PCIe] I finally found the reason behind my input lag after 6 years
That's just another placebo. Not necessarily. It can be, but I've seen switching between Ethernet adaptors fix things. The problem is there are millions of things that can cause problems, and that others have failed at fixing the problem using the same thing. But that doesn't mean it's always place...

Re: 100+ stuck pixels appeared suddenly on MSI G274QPF E2
This thread https://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic.php?t=5530 is the closest thing i found to my issue, but it still doesn't cover spontaneousness and volume of my case. There are 100+ stuck pixels of various colors that appear ONLY on black or very dark backgrounds, every other color there isn't...

Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]
Hello! I am a new owner of the XG2431, and I am quite happy with the quality and performance of the monitor thus far. I have a general question regarding the "PureXP" setting. Is there any potential of this setting shortening the lifespan of the panel? I notice that when you turn it on, the "eco" u...

Software Based BFI [Is it Better than Hardware Sometimes?]
I realized I had this up in the wrong section. Im looking for some clarity on how this works. You came to the right place for BFI science! More reading can be found in the Blur Busters Research Portal (Area 51) Is hardware BFI superior? Short Answer: "Depends. Yes & No." Long Answer: Usually, hardw...

Re: Found something related to CS input lag
[removed by moderator] Please don't post pirated downloads. Also, some pirated versions steal bitcoin from your computer's cryptocurrency wallets. I heard one cheating gamer lost over a million dollars worth of crypto, because they installed a malware-infected cheat/pirated download. Also got their...

Re: Does cloning your display cause increases in Input Lag?or FPS drops?
Are there any tutorials for this sort of thing I have a AverMedia LiveGamer 4K and a Zowie 240Hz with dyac+ No, this stuff is generally so flippin' niche, that my reply is probably the definitive guide (litmus test for latency). TL;DR: VSYNC OFF tearline positions perfectly in same positions on bot...

Re: Gsync compatible LFC issue
That's an interesting glitch... Normally the best advice is to tweak LFC higher to a number such as 55 or 65. However, sometimes lowering the minHz threshold actually helps certain VRR panels. On some monitor models (not necessarily yours) making 60fps permanently LFC can sometimes result in better ...
