Re: ASUS PG259QN hack for single-strobe ULMB 50 Hz and ULMB 60 Hz

It has nothing to do with HDMI vs DP. I got ULMB working over HDMI, but only from an NVIDIA GPU to an NVIDIA ULMB monitor. ULMB also uses a form of DRM (vendor lock in) so it doesn't work with AMD cards or non-NVIDIA video sources. NVIDIA drivers needs to execute a handshake protocol with the monit...

But... we may get no strobe on console or TV box because NV ULMB enabled does NOT work HDMI port, ok?

Hello. I have CRT monitor Samtron 96BDF 19". Since sunday, I got first visual distortions (wrong colors...) problem and tried to press degauss button to remove this problem with difficulty. Re: Samsung UH750 Motion Blur

You get motion blur because your TV/monitor has "normal" response time of 1ms = no flicker/strobe and no MPRT but MPRT (motion picture response time) should use strobe for other monitor. 😉

Re: OLED “microsecond response time” / “infinite contrast” claims vs reality?

For stop the confusion about the response time:
Lower response time doesn't belong less motion blur but yes lower persistence time belongs to reduce motion blur. - Why Do Some OLEDs Have Motion Blur? ;)

Re: True 10-bit color + strobing + fast IPS

NOTICE: If our world doesn't exist any thin monitor with true 1 billion-color + strobe (1 ms or faster MPRT only) yet, we are confused and sad but CRT monitor continues dominate. ;)

Re: True 10-bit color + strobing + fast IPS

Ok. Not HDR but yes 10-bit color per channel = 30 bits color depth = deep color. Deep color and strobe are importants for multimedia (videos, cinema, TV...).

True 10-bit color + strobing + fast IPS

Hello.

Any monitor IPS strobing + 1ms or shorter response time with true 10-bit color (not 8-bit+FRC)?
If you respond "yes", I'll ask: "what monitor?".

NOTE: I'll miss CRT monitor for excellent infinite colors+flicker when CRT monitor is damaged.
