Re: There is a way to Remove "Out of Range" LG 24GL600F?
If you couldn't find it in even in a simple Google search, probably not. It sometimes take some hacking skills to tame an Out-of-Range watchdogs, to unveil possible overclocks. Once Out-Of-Range defeat hacks are discovered, and if they're genuine hacks (no frameskipping), it usually generates a popu...

Re: Benq 2430T - overclocking or VT1500?
I was wondering which setting is better to reduce input lag and improve response time. Overclocking or VT1500 trick? It's a contradicting goal sometimes. Reduce lag of unstrobed VSYNC OFF -> overclocking is better Improve response for strobing -> sometimes VT1500 is better If you love framerate=Hz ...

Re: Facing Issues with Curved 4K Monitor - Need Help! Hey everyone,
Do you have a photo of the distortion?
I'm trying to figure out if it's human perception, or if it's a geometric filter in the monitor/drivers.
I use a Corsair Xeneon Flex (bendable OLED monitor), so I've got some experience here.

Re: Odyssey G4 Is really that bad? HELP!
So, where's the problem? The problem lies in the fact that when I go "fast" on my screen, you really can't see anything clearly. It seems like everything is stuttering, like everything I do is at 60Hz. My screen isn't smooth; it's "choppy," as I've heard said here on the forum. Do you mean erratic ...

Re: Why 240fps on my 360hz OLED monitor feels worse than 240fps on my other 240hz Oled monitor ?
Many monitors do not perform very well at under native refresh rate. Alternate approaches: 1. It's better to use max Hz, and use GSYNC to have a "lower lag 240Hz" on a 360Hz. GSYNC has fewer compromises if your uncapped framerate range is completely within your VRR range. Most lag complaints about G...

I swear I reply to this but for some reason my message didn't submitted. Ah, I'll tell you what happened. It appears you clicked the "Report Post" exclamation mark icon instead of "Reply" icon, a mechanism normally reserved for complaints to forum staff/volunteers -- usually for reporting forum vio...

Re: 360hz in a 250FPS locked game
Does this hold true even with a 480hz (Oled) or the 520hz (TN) panel? Specifically for 250fps locked content (quake live), will it *always* be better to match hz = fps regardless how high your monitor refresh rate can be? Thanks Chief Depends on the goal: --> If you are not using BFI/strobing, you ...

Re: Viewsonic XG2431 black image? Dead panel?
- Have you tried different refresh rates / resolutions to see if those work? - Have you tested different ports & different cables? If you're having the same problem on all video ports (DisplayPort and HDMI), and have confirmed it is not a bad cable, then you may have to contact ViewSonic for an RMA....

Elementary Explanation: Trying To Understand Pixel Refresh Rate (Was: "New Futuristic Temporal Resolution Hypothesis")
No, the display physics does not work like that. That's not a temporal resolution metric, that's like an Internet connection speed. What you are describing is bandwidth/speed (like the megabits per second on Internet). It has no effect on motion blur. We already have pixel clocks built into signals;...

I thought people could see the image attached to the post, my bad. It shows up but it's not readable due to small text (image zooms down to small 1080p gaming monitor), unless I do the [ URL=link ][ IMG ]link[ /IMG ][ /URL ] trick. Here is the clickable-zoomable version: https://forums.blurbusters....
