Rivatuner alternative for Linux Mint?

I switched from Windows to Linux. I'm using a Freesync monitor however so I need Linux to cap my framerate in games to 2-3 frames below max for Freesync to work it's best. How do y'all I suggest I do this in Linux since Rivatuner isn't available now?
