HI!
I just realized after 4 years I might have broken monitor. I have zowie XL2540. The monitor seems like it's not 240hz. it's motion is blurry and hurt my eyes. I capture 2 videos can you tell me is it normal to monitor behave like it? The game was in 1980x1080 native resolotion so no downscaling what so ever. I record it in 60fps. My graphic card is 1660super. Yes i enabled 240hz if case someone asks. I use displayport

If you are using the non-K version make sure you have instant mode on and AMA set to high or premium.

Re: MONITOR problem
I don't want to jump into conclusions but I have a Samsung OlED wide monitor, sometimes the game is crispy clear and absolutely beautiful and other times it is just unplayable from how bad the game looks specially when looking around as if I am on a 30hz old TV. It's probably not your monitor, but its a good start to check your AMA, I've had the zowei XL2540 about 2 years ago, and the same shit used to happen. Sometimes its crisp and feels like a 240hz monitor, other times it's just not!

Re: MONITOR problem
Verify that the 240Hz refresh rate that is promised for your display is indeed being used. Usually, your computer's display settings allow you to verify this. Make sure that the output frequency on your graphics card is set to 240Hz. Usually, the graphics card control panel is where you may accomplish this. Choose an HDMI or DisplayPort cable of the highest caliber that can handle 240Hz. Poor quality or broken wires might cause problems with performance.Patrykelele wrote: ↑13 Dec 2023, 07:19HI!

Re: MONITOR problem
This was happening to my xl2540 too, I only noticed the difference when I upgraded to the xl2566k and funnily enough the xl2540 died like a week later lol be careful of it breaking soon enough, hopefully you still have warranty - if you go near it can you hear it clicking?

Re: MONITOR problem
Try to go into the monitors OSD, look up a tutorial how to enter it on google I forget how you do it, if I remember rightly you hold the button on the left of the power button while you turn the monitor on but I might be wrong. There's an option for something called 'blur' or whatever - check whether its on or off. I think its like dyac for the monitors back then, personally I turned it off and it felt much better. Try it on/off I think its on by default. Hope it helps!Patrykelele wrote: ↑22 Dec 2023, 08:33I hear buzzing in left bottom corner but it's normal.
