Re: UDP packet always UNREPLIED.
There is no feedback in UDP, you just bomb server with datagrams and there is no any handshake, reply, acknowledgement etc.Vegeta wrote: ↑14 Mar 2024, 12:44Hi guys, I hope I am not mistaken where I am posting this topic. Feel free to move it admin, no poroblem.
So, I play a ps3 emulator, it is called RPCS3.
I have a 7800x3d and a 7900 xtx as my gpu.
I always experience problems with HIT REG and desync.
I found out from the modem ( ax6000 Asus) that all the packets that RPCS3 uses, i.e. UDPs, are always UNREPLIED.
Those few times that UDPs result "ASSURED" ( which would be my goal) the game works fine.
The port we use to host ( I play in P2P ) is 5730, and the server we rely on has this ip 15.204.66.207.
I have also done a tracert of this address, and out of 22 replies only 9 at times 10 replies.
I would like to know, is there any possibility to solve this problem?
if you need to know anything, please write to me, there is no problem.

Re: UDP packet always UNREPLIED.
Nothing, this is the nature of UDP. If your ISP sucks at handling it, then there is nothing you can do.
Re: UDP packet always UNREPLIED.
If your ISP is treating UDP differently than TCP, the solution is to use a VPN.
Re: UDP packet always UNREPLIED.
With VPN (North) the connection got worse... but I never did test or tracert with vpn, can I try?
Then I didn't understand one thing: do you also have the tracert problem ( for example) in the sense that you try to do the tracert of the server I put in gives you the same results? Or is the udp packets the problem?
