New input lag champion?

Post by Q83Ia7ta » 17 Oct 2014, 13:36

ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q
When ASUS PG278Q we measure 4.8 milliseconds at 60Hz and 144Hz for a very short signal delay. Half the mean image change time is 1.4 millisecond also very short, making the total outstanding 6.2 milliseconds.

LG 24GM77
When ASUS PG278Q we measure at 1.4 milliseconds at 60Hz and 144Hz for a very short signal delay. Half the mean image change time is 2 millisecond also very short, making a total of sensational 3.4 milliseconds.

well first of all crt's are the existing champion

check the prad.de measurements for the vg248qe. there's nothing really new here.
4.8ms for the rog swift is pretty high compared to the 24inch 144hz displays, but still low enough to not really affect performance

I mean champion in lightweight class between consumer LCD monitors. They have changed methodology(test) and vg248qe result can't be compared.

Pretty sure PRAD would have written an article to announce and explain any change to their methodology...they did that when they started using an oscilloscope
