Hi folks, I recently bought a xl2430t after owning a 2420t for several years.
I was skeptic/afraid about buying it because of input lag rumors.
I couldn't get a 1:1 comparison, it would set one screen 144 and 120 or 60 and 120.
AMA settings have been changed and premium and high values are added now. (Yes I never tried out the g models before)
I recorded both screens with a camera, and the 2430t on 144hz wins most of the time with 10-20ms difference and better clarity.
How come they are even and then a few seconds later it's 10 or 20ms faster, and then the same again?

Re: 2420T vs 2430T
May be because this software is from 90s and suits better for 60Hz monitors.

Don't forget to reset all setting on minitor and set FPS1 mode. Also check with and without VSYNC.

Re: 2420T vs 2430T
Make sure instant mode is enabled on the 2420T.
That's also not a current model. That's probably the old version. The current version was sold as the 2420TE here. Even the 2420TX was newer than the 2420T (not sure, about the difference but I think the 2420TE used a non PWM backlight while the TX had pwm)

Re: 2420T vs 2430T
it's not a good way of precisely measuring input lag
maybe okay for tv's which can have 50ms of input lag and stuff...
