I am also getting this infuriating issue. Whatever method I use I cannot get windows to recognize the tool as an mstar device. It shows up as Dual RS232 for me. When I run the ISP software the "your print port will not work!" message always comes up. I've tried Valan's post and moving ftd2xx.dll (and many many other methods) and all have failed.

Anyone else who's had this issue? Any possible fixes?

use linux. ;)
