Vertical 1350 and Crosstalk Question
Re: Vertical 1350 and Crosstalk Question
I was actually referring to being able to see mouse poll rate related micro-stutter. 1000Hz poll rate with 125FPS vs 1000Hz poll rate with 144FPS, for example.

Re: Vertical 1350 and Crosstalk Question
I need to test officially with 2000Hz mice, but using extreme variables I can see very faint 1000Hz microstutters, but only in this test:RealNC wrote:I was actually referring to being able to see mouse poll rate related micro-stutter. 1000Hz poll rate with 125FPS vs 1000Hz poll rate with 144FPS, for example.
- Strobed mode
- Strobe pulsewidths of 0.5 to 1ms (so tiny text in web browser windows still remain fully readable at full speed left-to-right mousedrags). This necessitates lowering the "ULMB Duty". This reduces motion blurring down to 0.5 pixel or 1 pixel per 1000 pixels/second
- Open browser page full of fine text (10 point or so)
- Fast windowdrag speeds of 2500 pixels/second (1 screenwidth per second on 2560x) -- about ~1 pixels of motion blurring during low ULMB Pulse Width settings.
The tiny text is very microstuttery with even 1000Hz mousepolls and not as fluid as http://www.testufo.com/#test=framerates-text&pps=1920
I have not currently done extensive game tests but it would require ultrahighdetail settings where critical details are one-pixel-widths similar to 10 point text. This would be more important for virtual reality type situations, e.g. trying to read fine text on walls while running past, etc.

Which is exactly what I claimed in my original postChief Blur Buster wrote:using extreme variables I can see very faint 1000Hz microstutters, but only in this test:
