Question about Blur Reduction 2.0 and V-Sync

Post by ethanhonglongnguyen » 29 Jul 2015, 18:22

I have an XL2430T and I have my Blur Reduction enabled at max intensity and area running at 120hz.

If I enable the triple-buffered V-SYNC in the CS:GO game options (not V-SYNC or AdaptiveSync) will the Blur Reduction and V-SYNC both work together?

Blur reduction is independent from vsync.
Blur reduction is monitor based. Vsync is videocard frame based.

You may be getting confused with freesync (gsync).
Blur reduction does not work at the same time as freesync/gsync (ULMB) because they use variable refresh rates, and a strobed backlight requires a fixed refresh rate.
