First, XL2411, XL2420Z, XL2420G and XL2720Z are technically all 1.0 monitors.
XL2430T is a "2.0" monitor with full 1.0 capabilities and no cutback of features/tweaks.

No difference overall functionality wise except on the XL2730Z.
The "2.0" monitors have the blur reduction settings in the OSD
(Except Single strobe).
XL2430T is a 2.0 monitor.
XL2430T has single strobe still in the service menu and still benefits from the same VT tweaks as the 1.0 monitors.
If you really want to be direct. the XL2430T is really a blur reduction 1.0 monitor with BR options moved into the OSD.

XL2730Z is a 2.0 monitor which is a huge step back from previous monitors.

1) single strobe is missing from the service menu and can't be re-added due to firmware limitations of some sort (new scaler)
2) can not strobe lower than 120hz refresh rate in sync with the refresh rate (Benq also claims this can't be addressed by firmware updates)
3) does not respond to VT tweaks to lower strobe crosstalk; XL2730Z at 120hz has strobe crosstalk covering the same percentage of the overall screen as XL2720Z and XL2420Z without VT tweaks. (Crosstalk happens due to pixel transitions (black to white to black periods) not finishing during a strobe, causing what appears to be part of the next frame to be placed on the current frame. Without strobing enabled, this just causes overdrive artifacts or regular old ghosting (without crosstalk), but with strobing, since much of the frame is "turned off" by the backlight having a longer "off" period than an "on" period during each refresh period (e.g. 8.3 milliseconds at 120hz. the backlight may be off for 6.9 of those milliseconds and only on for 1.4 milliseconds <-the "on" period is what is known as STROBE PERSISTENCE/Pulse widths), the pixels don't have time to reset and finish their transitions in 1.4 milliseconds. Thus=crosstalk.
(VT tweaks extend the blanking interval which allows the pixels to get closer to finishing their transitions).

bluffer, you've made a number of threads asking for advice, and have not provided as much as a single thank you to any of the number of posters who have taken the time and effort to help. A little bit of courtesy goes a long way, as does taking the time to formulate your questions with more precision.
