Again you are explaining what strobe duty and phase _ARE_.

I just need the standard Values these are set to when the monitor is factory default. Or a generally agreed upon perfect value of both numbers. I feel as if i'm repeating myself; I don't need to know what it is, does or works. Just the settings, i.e what numbers to put, that's it.

You don't want the default values.
1) they are incompatible with VT tweaks.
2) they are based on V1 firmware's defaults, which everyone complained about because there was too much crosstalk at the bottom of the screen, while the top of the screen was perfect).
3) they matched or approximated Lightboost's settings for lowest input lag (high strobe phase).

strobe duty=020
Strobe phase=100

Are the factory defaults.

So what would you suggest I use if factory is not recommended?
Keep in mind i don't intend to use MBR or any VT tweak atm.

In that case, those settings are ok if you can deal with the crosstalk at the bottom :)

Allrighty. What about Single strobe, on or off?

I also noticed you didn't reply to this and could you do this now?
in this screenshot https://gyazo.com/e49721d84afd9e4b165f21d324c88376 the grey to black has squiggly lines and looks distorted. Is it normal or a defect?

I can't reply to that. That's just dithering.
You get that effect in fog/alpha channels/whatever whenever you aren't using a game or video card or monitor without 10 bit color support. I cant help.

Single strobe is for strobing lower than 100hz. If its off it will double strobe (strobe twice per refresh) and all strobe adjustments will be disabled (duty and phase).

Read the other thread in the other section. Alien isolation already supports 10 bit color.
