Hi Guys_im hoping you can help me here.
After reading the posts about using the utilitly for this tool,im now lost.
I'm using this monitor only on a xbox one,so would someone kindly talk me through how to do it with the correct settings-I mainly play FPS games. I did have a play with the software but I'm not confident that I have put the correct settings on.
the monitor is V4-service menu says 10 and 100,but the utility would only let me go to 47 and I had to get to 100 (strobe I belive) by doing it on the service menu.
sorry if I have confused anyone here

If you're using the monitor on an Xbox one, don't use the windows utility.
Use the Service menu to make strobe adjustments. The service menu allows strobe phase=100.
And turn on "single strobe" if you are using blur reduction.
All other settings are up to you. Use whatever your eyes like.
The windows utility is capped at strobe phase 047 to prevent people from shutting off the backlight when enabling blur reduction with a too high strobe phase when using a Vertical Total tweak. The windows utility was designed around having a VT 1350 / VT 1500 tweak.
The persistence values are based on "60hz pulse widths" in the windows utility.
Easy to calculate:
60hz = 16.7 milliseconds.
Maximum strobe phase= 100.
16.7 milliseconds divided by maximum strobe phase (100) = 0.167 ms per point of strobe DUTY. That's the persistence values for "60hz pulse widths"
When using a vertical total tweak, the pulse widths for higher refresh rates get forced to the 60hz values. e.g. at 120hz, which is usually 8.3 milliseconds, the pulse widths are usually 8.3 divided by 100 = 0.083 ms per point of strobe DUTY. But using a VT Tweak forces the pulse widths to revert back to 0.167ms (instead of 0.083ms). This forced change LIMITS The maximum strobe phase.
There's more information here.
The service menu codes are there also.

But yes, for Xbox one, set strobe phase=100 for lowest input lag at 60hz !
Strobe phase of 000 will have EXACTLY 16.7 ms higher input lag (1 frame) than strobe phase 100.

Many thanks for that info-seems I got I right for what I'm after.
Just looking through your posts and noticed you wrote about the AMA.
Am I correct in thinking if I'm using blur reduction-to turn the AMA to high?

For AMA "reduced" (AMA low on XL2720Z, AMA reduced on XL2420Z and XL2411Z), enable blur reduction then move the AMA slider to high or move it back and forth to high AFTER blur reduction is enabled.
For AMA perfect (XL2720Z) with blur reduction OFF, active AMA low with blur reduction on then switch DIRECTLY to a preset gaming profile (gamer 1-3) that has blur reduction already off. On XL2420Z and XL2411Z, this only reduces the AMA slightly from AMA high with blur reduction off.
