XL2411Z Frame Skipping?

Post by makitofikito » 17 Mar 2016, 15:23

Hello, so I stumbled across one thread at Reddit saying one of the AOC monitor is known to have problem with this, I had a strange feeling about my monitor since I had, but I never tried this test, so I decided to do so.
Result:

I set camera on 1/5.
I already have this monitor over a year, but I never think about that, and if it is a failure, can i get a replacement?
Thanks :)

Yea, that's pretty bust and defective.

AOC really like to cut corners with their monitors.

If your monitor says it's 144hz then it should be displaying 144 frame a second.

Skipping frames is pretty bad thing, i think you might be able too make it not frame skip by creating a custom resolution in your GPU control panel at 1080p 144hz but with reduced blanking.

i'm not 100% sure this will help but it's worth a shot.

Run reset-all.exe from CRU, restart the driver (restart64.exe) or computer, then try again. This will remove all custom resolutions.

And is instant mode enabled or disabled in the OSD?
