Any BenQ XL2411Z v4 User here who can help?

Post by gladioN » 07 May 2016, 19:30

Hey Guys, im just new in this Forum but i fucked something up.

I was in the Burn in Menu aka Factory Menu and i changed the Colours RGB. Can someone give me please the Default ones?

Instruction:

Hold button #3 and button #5 (from left to right) with the power off for 5 seconds, then press power while still holding them down.

Would be nice if someone makes a Picture with me with the Default Settings please!

RGB settings (Gain, offset) are for VGA ONLY.
I doubt you're using a VGA connection so please ignore them.

Color temperature settings mean nothing (warm, normal, cool), as you can change the presets or reset them. You should probably be using "user" anyway. You can reset those with recall all in the burnin menu, or reset all in the OSD, if you want them set back. If you only use "User" (I like 100, 98, 96, or 100, 100, 92) then you can make those same adjustments in the OSD. User always corresponds to the OSD setting's values.

Hey, thanks for your respond.

If i select recall all, it doesnt work. But if u say it doesnt make any Difference, then okay.

Yea i am using FPS1 with 92,92,92 and everything off except AMA on High.

Recall all should reset everything in the monitor.
I know it resets the gamer1, 2 and 3 presets. On a fresh monitor, gamer 1,2 and 3 default to the copied settings for FPS1, FPS2 and RTS.
It also resets the stobe phase and strobe duty. Sets single strobe to off, strobe phase to 100 and strobe duty to 020.
All OSD and saved "customized key" settings are reverted.

If it doesn't reset the burn in menu, then idk. That menu was never intended to be used. It was intended for factory use. That's why it's enabled after a fresh firmware flash (usually with the Mstar ISP unit, which may put the monitor into burn-in mode after a flash, or possibly after a Linux flash upgrade).

If it helps,

Gain: 080,080, 080
Offset:128, 128, 128
6500k: 100, 100, 98
9300k: 82,87, 100 <--please don't use 9300k. Just don't.
5800k: 100, 92, 87.
User (corresponds to OSD).
Online Gamma (Yes/No) <--no idea what this does.
EDID PASS (better be pass).

Resolution=scalar resolution, not the physical resolution. Scaler resolution is based on "Vertical Total" value. used for calculating strobe crosstalk via blanking interval. With VT 1497-Vt 1502, it will report 1280x1440 (default VT=1133 (100hz), 1138 (120hz). 1138 -->1502 = 25% increase. 1080 vertical--->1440 vertical = 25% increase. Horizontal=1280 is reserved for Lightboost mode accelerated scanout (which is what our Vertical Total tweak is doing--tricking the scalar).
