Zowie Dynamic Accuracy preview
Re: Zowie Dynamic Accuracy preview
Looks good, actually. Although it does look like display latency is increased.

I love how fixing the AMA is somehow a feature now... kek
More lag? It looks like it's the same too me

Re: Zowie Dynamic Accuracy preview
I'm just curious how they accomplished to get rid of most of the ghosting/crosstalk. Is the screen on the right suppose to be a Xl2730 in normal refresh mode or strobing backlight mode?
Is "DyAc" simply turning on strobing backlight at 144 Hz which the Xl2730Z can already do? I don't fully understand their marketing.
To me it simply looks like they are comparing a XL2730 in normal refresh mode with a XL2735 in backlight strobe mode and giving it a name.

Re: Zowie Dynamic Accuracy preview
Until they fix all the stupid strobe bugs in the XL2730Z and actually improved upon, rather than having undid everything which made the XL2720Z such a great monitor (EVEN if this didn't happen until firmware V003/V004), I have no interest in it. Even if our VT tweaks were the result of exploiting a "bug" in the firmware....

Standard 144hz. They fixed their shitty overdrive.Vega wrote:I'm just curious how they accomplished to get rid of most of the ghosting/crosstalk.
You can see how bad it has been here: http://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2795

I think one of the video of monitor is software edited.Vega wrote:I'm just curious how they accomplished to get rid of most of the ghosting/crosstalk.
There is inverse ghosting:
Re: Zowie Dynamic Accuracy preview
So basically the Xl2735 is a XL2730 with the bugs fixed? lol
Seems like the Eizo FS2735 would be the better option with IPS at strobed 144 Hz.

What bugs?Vega wrote:So basically the Xl2735 is a XL2730 with the bugs fixed? lol
TN monitors like this is for competitive gaming (FPS).Vega wrote:Seems like the Eizo FS2735 would be the better option with IPS at strobed 144 Hz.
Re: Zowie Dynamic Accuracy preview
TN vs IPS doesn't really matter that much when strobing.
