i am very new to this and not really sure of everything.
I try to set up the graphics like this guide is telling :https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/c ... onitor_to/
I got to the point where i have to set up the custom resolution, but somehow it always fails.
When i enter these settings:

The screen will brighten up for 2 seconds and the turn extremly dark afterwards. to see anything i have to turn off blur reduction on the screen afterwards.
I tried to do this with total vertical of 1502 as i read somewhere, but this has the same result.
I already used the AMD Pixel Clock Patcher, and in the Monitor Settings tab i choose 120 Hz Refreshrate.
I also tried to use the settings suggested in this thread, to no avail: http://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1758
what i will see is that when i restart the drivers with the cru utility, and open CRU again, there will still be an asterix on top of the active Monitor, indicating that there are still changes that are not in effect. If it stilli doesn't work, then just use CRU, click add under detailed resolutions and click manual and create a 1920x1080@120hz, with front porch 48/3, sync width 32/5, horizontal total 2080 and VT 1502 (or 1500 or 1350), 1502 gives the most effect of crosstalk reduction from top to bottom, but there's no visual difference between VT 1502 and VT 1500 (although a few refresh rates may look funky with VT 1502 but be fine at VT 1500).
