And what happens if you do it now?
Are you SURE you used the toastyx AMD pixel clock patcher beforehand?

Hello guys. When i see fast-moving objects they act like this http://oi57.tinypic.com/ivwen8.jpg
Is it strobbing? All strobbing tests are ok. Can i do something with that?

What refresh rate is that?
Is single strobe disabled or enabled in the service menu? (due to a bug, the windows utility enables single strobe on any adjustments, as custom strobing doesn't take effect if blur reduction is toggled off then on, until strobe duty, phase or brightness is changed in OSD/service menu), if single strobe is disabled (seems to be a weird bug).

That picture doesn't tell me much. Looks more like 60 FPS or 30 FPS with double strobing (single strobe off).

Well I don't know what's wrong with the picture. Are you scrolling the mouse at the very top or bottom of the screen? if you are you may be getting strobe pulse crosstalk. You can see it if you run testuFO (100hz if using internet explorer) and look for an ugly double thick band at the UFO/borders at the top or bottom. Most of this can be avoided by using the VT 1500 tweak (might require the AMD or NVidia pixel clock patcher if the clock exceeds 330.00 MHz bandwidth), and then adjusting the strobe pulse to 000.

Hint: you will know if the VT tweak worked if the OSD reports 1920x1080@60hz (instead of the current refresh rate) because the monitor uses 60hz backlight pulses when any VT tweak is used.

And lol, i found inetesting thing - when i watch test http://www.testufo.com/#photo=alien-inv ... &height=-1 my image begin to stutter exactly every 1:05 for ~30 seconds. Is it only me? Can this be problem in my pc or some frequency settings in monitor?

Browser bugs. Close all programs, restart the browser. Nothing to do with the monitor at all. Just HTML5 problems.

I'm new and I bought a XL2720z V2. I would like to optimize the XL2720z but Im scared of ruining the calibration and brightness of the original calibration when blur reduction is turned off (BR extra eyestrain?):

-For csgo (uses ICC profile calibration from below):
Blur reduction: on
brightness: 100
Refresh rate: 120
BB strope Utility: calibration/tweaking done (with above settings)

-Original professionally calibrated For Photoshop, starcraft 2 and normal use:
Blur reduction: off
brightness: 23 (professionally calibrated Brightness, color, Gamma etc.)
Refresh rate: 144

So does the BB Strobe utility effect ANYTHING when Blur reduction is turned off?
Does the 120hz BR feature inscrease eyestrain?

I created a color profile with BR tunred on:
http://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1606

The "out of the box" calibration is pretty bad for almost all screens you can buy. This is because every panel is slightly different (manufacturing tolerance). I found that BR does not affect the colors much, but I didn't verify this with my spyder colorimeter.

If you want to have accurate colors you really do not want to use a "low quality" panel like this one. This screen is meant for different uses.
However, if you still want to use it for photo editing you will need to invest in a colorimeter and create your own color profile. This way you can at least achieve a decent color quality.

And yes, BR increases eyestrain. At 120Hz not so much (I have it turned on all the time), but gaming at 60Hz (flicker) can be uncomfortable after some time.

Hi guys
I just wanna to ask you if still 2720 is best monitor for gaming in strobe mode? With tweaks ofc.

I must admit I can go for 2730z, but I've read it have 120Hz strobe mode only(usable) and have strong crosstalk.
2730 on other hand have better colours, and Freesync.
I was thinking about Asus rog swift too, or Acer predator on IPS, but had IPS monitor earlier and glow was killin me in darker scenes..so no IPS.
What do you think?

Or maybe smaller screen, xl2430T ?
